More than medals
Provincial championships give athletes valuable competitive experience, a way to measure their progress and the opportunity to challenge themselves against their peers.
Fencing KZN remains committed to growing participation, strengthening club development and making the sport accessible to more young people across KwaZulu-Natal. A stronger development pathway and more regular, high-quality competition help athletes progress from their first experience on the piste to provincial, national and international competition.
Every athlete who stepped onto the piste contributed to the success of this year's championships.
Thank you to the coaches, clubs, referees, officials, volunteers, parents and supporters whose commitment makes these events possible. Congratulations to all our 2026 competitors and medallists — your sportsmanship and determination are building the future of fencing in our province.
We look forward to seeing you back on the piste!
