In January and June 2026, Fencing KZN brought the excitement of fencing to Westown Square, Shongweni, giving the local community an opportunity to experience the sport up close — and even step onto the piste themselves.
The Fencing KZN team was geared up and ready to welcome children, teens, adults, families and curious newcomers to try something completely different.
Fast, strategic and exciting, fencing challenged both the body and the mind. Participants picked up a sword, tested their reflexes and experienced the thrill of a real fencing exchange — no previous experience was required.
